AP Technology Week, March 10-12, 2015, Anglo Production Processes, Saxon Business Park, United Kingdom. Seica will take part to the technology week, organized by APP in March, presenting the Pilot 4DV8 flying prober and the Firefly B60 laser selective soldering.
The Pilot4DV8 line represents the latest in technology in flying probe testing for both ICT, functional testing and data regeneration applications. the Pilot4DV8, the state-of-the-art in flying probe board test today, is a multi-function tester for any type of board, using its eight flying probes to contact both sides of the UUT, the capability to perform power-on, on-board programming, boundary scan tests, 2D and 3D laser-based visual inspection and optical test of optoelectronic components, with the precision to contact very small components (up to metric 03015), guaranteeing unparalleled and demonstrable accuracy and repeatability. The Pilot 4DV8 will show the latest features for automotive and LED light testing applications. Seica’s LED option will be show testing all key parameters of LEDs, such as the lumens, and intensity of several board mounted LEDs analyzed by Seica’s Viva software. In addition, Seica has also incorporated a sophisticated laser scanner for quick and accurate measurements of “bow and twist” and board topologies. Firefly LASER selective soldering system will also presented, with new enhanced software and more tools for high volume production in a clean environment. Flexible and always monitored process, the Firefly Line is the answer to the manufacturing needs, through the clean and efficient laser technology. Repeatability and flexibility make the Firefly system ideal both for electronic boards manufacturers and sub-contractors.
