Seica Inc is now hiring a:
Semiconductor Sales Associate (SA): Representing a core business unit for Seica, Inc. the SA is responsible for increasing Seica’s semiconductor test and handling equipment sales and market share within a defined territory by managing the sales process related to both our standard and custom equipment offerings. This position reports to the Seica Semiconductor National Sales Manager. In addition, as the need dictates, additional regional business opportunities for Seica’s standard EMS business products will be pursued by this new sales associate.
The SA will increase sales and market share by developing relationships achieving levels of trust and credibility with the clients’ personnel, testing departments, fab shops, production teams and procurement departments. Working directly and supporting Seica’s diversified portfolio of products and industry segments the SA will drive our product penetration initiatives working with the National Sales Manager and engineering product specialists.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Increase sales and market share through direct and indirect sales activities.
- Develop sales leads into profitable accounts working closely with local sales teams within defined regions
- Serve as a conduit for information between clients and our senior management, product specialists and R&D departments
- Provide management with regular reporting and updates regarding key customer, prospects and projects
- Develop and share “Best Practices” enhancing our ability to promote and sell our distributed products in the semiconductor market as well as our standard Seica products. Establish high standards and expectations for customer service through all facets of Seica’s customer service and distributed products OEM groups
- Provide continuous improvement in all areas including sales volume growth, improvement of account profitability and contract term.
- Prepare and timely submit complete and accurate expense reports in accordance with the then current Seica policy. -Attend scheduled trade shows, regional sales meetings and international events.
- Support customer Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) when and where necessary.
- As required by company policy forecast and provide configurations on possible system sales opportunity by entering them in company software portals which will be used with our CRM system. A successful SA will develop their sales skills by learning the products in our portfolio.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Accountable to meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets as well as intermediate sales forecasts.
- Prospect into new and existing accounts via telephone and with the use of online sales platforms.
- Develop and manage pipeline and advance sales opportunities through the sales process from contact to close.
- Perform product sales presentations, provide quotations, negotiate deals, obtain purchase orders, and contracts.
- Conduct company / market / industry research, identify key stakeholders, understand decision processes, and establish decision criteria within target companies.
- Serve as a resource to Seica channel partners within a designated territory by assisting with the sales process related to new and existing accounts, up to and including opportunity close.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or technical engineering field with 5 – 10 years of experience or 4+ years of experience demonstrated success in technical sales positions.
- Internal drive and motivation to meet established goals related to activity levels.
- Strong work ethic, and motivated to work in a high performing, results oriented environment.
- Technical Aptitude
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Fluent in English and in the local language of the territory
- Travel: 25%
